I am a Licensed Professorial Counselor. I am specialized with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I am also on a training of Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) I have worked in clinical settings, including behavioral health services, with a wide variety of clients: individual adults, couples, groups, families, high school and university students, at-risk youth, the elderly. I am very engaged in ongoing training. I help others fine-tune their lives so that their pain is smaller and their joys are greater. Through compassion, respect, and working together, I strive to create a strong and trusting relationship with each and every client in order help them reach their goals. I am specializing in the treatment of anxiety, depression and relationship issues, trauma, abuse, attachment issues, low self-esteem, borderline personality, and stressors. In order to help facilitate better and more productive solutions to their problems, I work with clients to examine various aspects of their experience: thoughts, feelings, and relationship behaviors and patterns. The outcome is a deeper awareness of self that cultivates calm and stability, improved self-esteem, and more fulfilling relationships.
