Every relationship goes through difficult seasons. With the right support, those seasons can become opportunities for deeper understanding and connection.
Couples therapy is for all couples — regardless of relationship structure, background, or stage of life. Whether you are navigating a specific conflict, feeling emotionally distant, recovering from a painful rupture, or wanting to build a stronger foundation — therapy can help.
Relationship struggles are rarely about one person being right and the other wrong. They are more often about two people with different needs and ways of connecting who have gotten stuck in painful cycles that neither partner fully understands. Couples therapy creates a safe, structured space to slow those cycles down, understand what is really happening beneath the surface, and begin to find each other again.
Based on decades of research on what makes relationships succeed or fail, the Gottman Method is my primary approach to couples work. It provides evidence-based tools to strengthen friendship, manage conflict constructively, build shared meaning, and repair after ruptures — helping couples replace patterns that erode connection with skills that genuinely work.
EFT focuses on the emotional bond between partners — helping each person understand their attachment needs and the deeper emotions driving their responses. It helps couples step out of reactive cycles and move toward greater emotional safety, vulnerability, and secure connection.
I also draw from Schema Therapy, attachment-focused, and emotion-focused approaches as needed — tailored to each couple's unique dynamics, history, and goals.
It takes courage to ask for help together. I would be honored to support you both.
In-person and virtual sessions are available for all couples. Please call or email to schedule a consultation.
